Our Mission:

The purpose of Future Shining is to inform the general student body of Wootton as to what professional opportunities await them after completing high school. Seventy five percent of students change their major after entering college, wasting time and money in fees. Future Shining plans to hold one meeting a month, in which a professional, coming from a variety of different fields, will give a presentation on his or her job, covering aspects such as the technical knowledge and amount of extra schooling required, salary, and overall outlook for that sector. The information provided by these presentations will hopefully help a student in deciding what career they want to pursue.
